I started Lumenrare in 2025 after many years collecting and researching the history of Ireland. As a self-taught but avid historian, my interests lie in
WW2 history and in 17th-century maps of Ireland, and like most collectors I’ve gone down countless fascinating rabbit holes while sourcing the rare maps, antique prints and historic documents offered here. Every piece listed on Lumenrare is completely genuine, professionally assessed, and chosen for its authenticity, provenance and historical significance.

My pricing reflects what I believe to be a fair representation of marketvalue for rare Irish maps, vintage engravings and original historical documents, with certain higher-value pieces priced accordingly due to their exceptional stories or scarcity.
